This is a group for anybody interested in Irish culture including Irish folk dancing, traditional music, and Irish language. I am based in Santa Monica and plan to organize events locally. I hope to start set dancing and various ceili dances depending on interest. I welcome all skill levels and will have local teachers lead some of the events. This is a group for kilt enthusiasts, and people who want to get into Celtic culture and music, all while having fun and wearing a kilt! You need not be Scottish or Irish to wear a kilt or to join this group, but it doesn't hurt if you are!
