I'd like to say hi to both Linda's. They made the day very special. One for her playing and the new tunes she brought to the jam and the other for her intense listening.

Who attended?

    •  A great group of people showed today. Some were new others attend regularly and a few we haven't seen in a while. Besides the 4 who RSVP from the meet-up group we had Rod, Bill, Tom, Glen, Jim, Pat and Viki on the ferry horn. All in all we had a grand ole time.
    •  We had a wonderful time at the Sunday afternoon jam. There were some surprising moments, such as when Tom played a lovely solo on his brand new viola. Jim somehow managed to break 2 strings on his mandolin. It was good to see a new face in the circle, thanks for coming to join us, Linda! We played lots of medleys, and we worked on a few tunes from the Portland Collection. It is an awesome undertaking to try to learn everything there is to learn about acoustic music. We just keep getting better. In June, we will mark our 2 year anniversary of the Books-A-Million Sunday afternoon jam. Thanks to all.
